God’s Love and Romans 8:38-39

Nothing and no one can separate us from the love of God.

This is a truth to stand on and grab hold of (with both hands preferably).

Are there exceptions to what can separate us from the love of God?

No.

Nothing and no one can separate us from God.

This is a promise.

God’s love is stronger and more powerful than anyone and anything.

You are loved by God. Period. End of Story.

Any questions?

Oh, what a wonderful truth and promise to proclaim.

The problem is while we want to believe this, it is hard to grasp.

We think that love has boundaries. And it does on Earth. Love needs to have boundaries on Earth. We can be hurt or can hurt without those boundaries.

God’s love only has one boundary: Believe in Jesus.

When we believe in Jesus, then nothing can separate us from God’s love.

How can we comprehend a love that powerful and limitless?

We know we are not worthy of this love from God. This also makes it hard to believe that nothing and no one can separate us from the love of God.

This is a passage we might want to meditate on several times a day for the rest of our lives.

Write it out and look at these verses whenever possible.

God’s love with you knows no limit.

He loves you.

God loves you.

And He always will.

Can we believe this?

The more we meditate and pray through these verses, I bet we will start to grasp it a little more. Shall we give this a try? Let’s look at these verses several times a day for the next few weeks and months. I bet it will change our lives.
