Psalm 1, Part 1

PSALM 1:1

Yesterday (November 18, 2020), I started to read, meditate, journal, and pray through Psalm 1:1.

And I can tell I need to hang out here for a while. So I will.

THIS MORNING

I love how God works.

Every morning, my husband and I read the Verses of the Day from four different sources.

Guess what one was for this morning? Psalm 1:1-2.

Thank You, Lord. What a blessing.

I am on track.

Font Differences in Blog Posts

Please forgive the font differences in my blog posts. I have not been able to figure out how to correct them yet. (Sigh.)

Years in the Making (Psalms)

AN INTRODUCTION
Earlier this morning, I started working on a new journaling project. More specifically, it's a new personal Bible and Prayer Journaling Project.

This is the title that I am giving it so far:

Meditating on the Psalms Day and Night

I have wanted to pray and journal through the Book of Psalms for decades now and I think it's finally time for me to do so.

LUKE 24:44
This is one of the reasons why it is so important to look a look at the Psalms.
Here is a link so you can look at it if you like: https://www.studylight.org

PSALM 1:1-1:3
This is a major reason why I want to go through the Psalms.

A HYMNAL AND PRAYER BOOK
Another reason why I want to go through the Psalms is because the book is called:
~ The Hymnal of the Bible
~ A Prayer Book (Book of Prayer)

A FAVORITE
The main reason why I want to go through the Book of Psalms is because it's always been a favorite.

NOVEMBER 18, 2020, WEDNESDAY: THE START DATE
This is the start date of this project.

43 Days

There are 43 days left in the year 2020.

JOURNALING PROMPTS OR QUESTIONS:
~ What are your thoughts that there are only 43 days left in 2020?
~ What do you have planned for the rest of the year?
~ What do you hope to accomplish with the rest of the year?
~ How do you want to choose to finish the year in the absolute best way possible? What does that look like?

New Title

This is the new title for what I am praying through and journaling.

Praying Through the Psalms

I have wanted to prayer journal slowly through the Book of Psalms for years now. It looks like this is the day I begin, with the Lord, to dive deep and thoroughly into the prayer book, and hymnal, of the Bible.

Care to join me on the journey?
